CHALLENGE:
– To create a brandmark that showcases the focus of the 6-star hotel’s impeccable service and art appreciation
– To infuse ‘Thai-ness’ to reflect the location of its first locale in Phuket
SOLUTION:
– The Thai greeting, the ‘Wai’, was our inspiration for the brandmark to imbue the sense of service
– So we created a stylised version of the ‘Wai’; of two palms pressing together
– The brandmark, with its lines flowing and overlaping each other, also created a ‘Rorschach’ effect, allowing guests with vivid imagination to see other elements beyond the hands, like squirrels, fish, nun habits, etc
– This aspect evoked both the artistic aspect of the hotel as well as the concept that Iniala is here to serve and we can be whatever you want us to be
– This concept lent well to the architecture and design of the hotel whereby each space is designed by different designers from around the world
